Washing floors
On a daily basis, dust mop the entire area to remove grit and dust
that may come into your home. One way of reducing this grit is to
place a mat at the entrance.
As required, mop the floor area using a neutral detergent and a damp
mop. One major cause of dirt buildup is inappropriate detergent - apart
from being a neutral pH, it also needs to dissolve completely in water
and not leave any residues, as residues will cause a buildup on the
surface that will in fact attract dirt. One such product is our StoneCare Concentrate Cleanser.

Fill a bucket with warm water and add a cupful of StoneCare Concentrate. Go over the whole floor with a damp mop covering say 4 square metres at a time then pick up excess water. If the floor is parrticularly dirty, use a slightly wetter mop and dry up using a wet vacuum or a dry mop. If there are stubborn stains on the floor, the area may need a second application using a heavier concentration on StoneCare Concentrate, allowing the water to remain in contact with the stained area for at least 4 minutes.

Marble or Granite Vanity tops
Simply pour 15ml of StoneCare Concentrate into a
500ml-spray bottle then add water. When cleaning the tops, spray the
Dilution and allow settling for a few minutes to breakup any dirt.
Dry surface and polish to a brilliant shine using a soft cloth. For
kitchen bench-tops where there is a likelihood of grease and oil splatter,
use a stronger mix and wipe vigorously to dissolve and remove the residue.
To keep the tops looking brilliant and enhance colour, use our Vanity Cream once a month.

Shower recesses, grout and glass
Shower recess and other surfaces exposed to a build up of soap scum
may be cleaned regularly using our Soap Scum Remover. A good
way of avoiding soap buildup is using a dilution of StoneCare Spray
and Wipe
(15ml StoneCare Concentrate in 500ml of water) over the
affected area then squeegee down into drain. Practicing this simple
procedure will mean the shower recess will retain its' as new
condition for a long time.
